Read Before Purchasing

Use correct FiveM account

❗️ Your purchases are linked to your FiveM account, and your FiveM account is linked to your FiveM server license key. Meaning the FiveM account you use to login on Tebex before the purchase, needs to be the FiveM same account that you use to log into https://keymaster.fivem.net to generate your server license key.
✔️ This is only temporary, as there is a new "teams" feature planned.

Minimum server artifacts version

❗️ It is required that your server is using server artifacts version 4752+.
✔️ This is required to be able to use resources on the new system. But you will eventually need to update at some point anyway right?

Resource not working

You lack the required entitlement?

This message will be visible in your server console or client F8 console.
Explanation 1
Because after you purchase or transfer the resource(s) a server restart is required.
Solution
Simply restart your server.
Explanation 2
Because your server is using a FiveM server license key that was generated from a different Fivem account to the one that was used to purchase the resource(s) on Tebex. - #Use correct FiveM account.
This could be because:
  • You are a co-owner/dev but the server uses the owners license key (or vise versa).
  • The resource(s) were transferred to you on MyCodesign by the original owner (or someone else).
  • The resource(s) were gifted to you by a community member (or someone else).
  • You received free resource(s) from the Codesign Team.
Solution 1
Whoever has access to the FiveM account which made the purchase(s) needs to login here and they can transfer them to the correct account. Make sure to enter the correct FiveM username as this can only be done 1 time. A server restart is required after this transfer.
Solution 2
If you do not have access to the account that made the purchase, or cannot contact the owner of the account that has access, you can open a Management Ticket on our Discord and explain your situation. But we can only help with certain situations, you will most likely need to contact FiveM's support.
Due to these current circumstances, if you have to transfer resources to another users account through keymaster, you can always contact FiveM support in the future and ask them to transfer it back to your account, so its not necessarily a permanent transfer.
Explanation 3
It's possible that your server may be using a FiveM server license key that is not linked to your purchase(s).
Solution 1
If you login here and you are able to see your resource(s), that means you were using a license key that is not linked to your purchase(s). So either create a new server license key using this FiveM account.
Solution 2
Login here and transfer them to the correct account. Make sure to enter the correct FiveM username as this can only be done 1 time. A server restart is required after this transfer.
Explanation 4
Because you purchased through our old Shopify website before we moved to Tebex.
Solution
You can open a Management Ticket on our Discord and explain your situation.

Failed to verify protected resource?

Explanation 1
Files were possibly corrupted during transfer.
Solution
Ensure encrypted files are copied; the .fxap file must be included. Some FTP programs skip these files.

Client side syntax error?

This message will be only be visible in your client F8 console.
Explanation 1
This is most likely because you are not using a compatible server artifacts version - #Minimum server artifacts version.
Solution
Upgrade your server artifacts to at least version 4752+ here.
Explanation 2
This can also be because you have edited the encrypted code.
Solution
Delete the current folder and redownload a fresh unedited version from FiveM's Keymaster.

Couldn't start resource?

This will cause players to not be able to join your server.
Explanation 1
If this only happens to some players, but not all of them, this is because the time on your VPS/dedicated server is behind.
Solution
Make sure in your windows settings, the time is being set automatically Example.
Start > Settings > Time and Language. Or watch this video.

FAQ

I own 3 servers, can I use the same resource on my 3 different servers at the same time?

Yes, as long as you are using a server license key that was generated from your FiveM account. This also applies for dev/local host servers too. Read this for more information #Use correct FiveM account.
